OUR MISSION
CTLC is a evangelical cooperative ministry of churches, individuals, businesses, and organizations working together to meet the food and clothing needs of individuals in order to introduce them to Christ.
To:
1. serve as a central location for the accumulation and distribution of food, clothing and other goods.
2. help individuals access
Temple area resource agencies.
3. provide an atmosphere of spiritual encouragement for those who come for assistance, regardless of need.
4. provide opportunities to church members and other volunteers to minister in Christ's name.
CTLC is an group of churches, organization, businesses and individuals working with the support of the community and social service groups to meet basic human needs on a temporary and/or emergency basis. The staff is composed entirely of volunteers who assist almost 300 families per week. We embrace all ethnic and age groups and, as of December 2020, we have over 44,613 clients and dependents on file that have received aid of some kind.
The organization was founded in June 1994 by a group of 7 churches to serve the community of Temple. In 2000, the organization acquired permanent facilities located at 702 West Avenue G in Temple, TX. It is presently supported by over 30 area churches and numerous business and social service organizations and serves all rural areas within east Bell County.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help the people providing services with the people who need them. Come connect with people in new ways.
Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action. Think you would be a good fit? Get in touch for more information! 254-778-6885
